Role: Lead Client Accountant - Property & Asset Management
Location: South Buckinghamshire (hybrid)
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 (subject to experience), plus bonus and benefits
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual that has a strong ambition to forge / progress a career within an established property services firm (commercial and residential). We are looking for a driven individual with a desire to provide an exemplary client accounting service to the the firm's many clients.
Required skills:
- Qualified ACCA / FCCA, with a minimum of 5 PQE experience in property management client accounting and experience in property financial management
- Leadership skills / experience with the ability to motivate and guide others
- Proactive – desire to promote yours and the team’s development, and take ownership of every aspect of the Client Accounting service, using your initiative to continually evolve the service delivery to both clients and tenants
- IT – an expert in the use of Microsoft Excel, and systems such as Yardi and Tramps
Responcibilities:
- Lead and mentor the Property & Asset Management accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities and ensure alignment with industry standards e.g. the RICS
- Prepare and oversee: VAT returns, service charge accounts, balance sheets and trial balances, client financial statements and non-resident landlord matters
- Regularly evaluate team performance, providing feedback and development guidance to ensure excellence in client service delivery
